Course Information
Chemistry consists of a survey of chemical nomenclature, chemical reactions, stoichiometry, atomic theory, quantum mechanics, periodic trends, chemical bonding, solutions, gas laws, and thermodynamics. The laboratory experience consists of general experiments designed to aid the student in the lecture section of the course. Students are required to bring a three-ring binder and scientific calculator daily. Completion of daily homework assignments is essential for success in chemistry.
